Case | The case is decorated similar to the anglaise riche style with a tiered base. Both the porcelain side panels are signed by Le Roy and are decorated with an ethereal background which depict two young ladies decorated with enamel and accentuated by luminous highlights. |
Dial | The dial depicts a castle scene in the foreground of moonlight onto which is laid a narrow gilded ring for the minutes and silvered plaques for the hours, stylised with Roman numerals. Below this is an alarm ring which features Arabic numerals. |
Movement | The movement strikes and repeats the hours on a gong and is provided with an alarm. |
