Favre Leuba & Co Small gentlemans vintage wrist watch.
In the early 1900s, a sales and marketing collaboration between Favre-jacot family ( Zenith) and Favre-Leuba of Switzerland took place. Both the families were close, and Henry favre, who already owned a successful business in Bombay and Calcutta, launched Zenith in the Indian sub-continent, from Afghanistan to Burma. The collaboration lasted well into the 1960s, several watches, especially high-class chronometers, were not only designated Zenith but also Favre-Leubaon the dial. A distinguishing feature of the ‘Indian’ Zeniths is that they did not have a star on the winding crown.
