Case

The case consists of six blond tortoise shell panels, with the front panel featuring decorated silver floral corner mounts. Small versions of such mounts are found on the rear of the case. The repeat button, situated at the top of the case, is matched by the four milled bun feet on which the case rests.

Dial

The gilt and silvered dial is signed “George Edwards & Sons, Buchanan St. Glasgow” and surrounded by a rococco style silver bezel.

Movement

French 8 day movement gong striking the hours and the half hours and repeating at will.
