William Webster. The two train 8 day bell striking movement with twin fusee and verge escapement with knife edge suspension and bob pendulum, with floral engraved backplate. The break arch dial with matted centre and applied silvered engraved chapters with mock pendulum aperture below XII and calendar above VI, with chased spandrels being signed to a silvered applied cartouche, Wm Webster Exchange Alley London, with strike silent chapter and hand to the arch. The ebonised fruitwood veneered case over a traditional oak carcase with single door escutcheon and brass carrying handle being surmounted on four block feet.
